Sunlight and Snow Tango

By Daisy on March 24, 2024 6:57 pm

This has had many iterations this week, and it is a Tango of sorts.  I liked the Melody best with flute, but several other instruments were tried.
I hope you enjoy it-- We have lots of sunlight here behind the Cheddar Curtain, and in March we are having snow storms. I hummed this all week as I tango-ed through clearing the sidewalks and dressed the doggies in their coats to do our winter walkies. The neighbor kids made some great snow people and there were snowballs thrown...
Nevertheless, my Hyacinths are poking through the snow, the Robins and Grackles are back,
and the Most-Handsome-of-All-Birds, our Red-bellied Woodpecker couple Clive and Hortense are nest building.
Spring is coming.

So pleasant! This was a great tune to start my morning smile

Love the concept of the sun/snow tango! The call and response interplay of the guitar and woodwinds/contrabass is really great too. Well done sonically capturing the nuances of the seasonal change

You always have the most insightful comments!   I write what flows out of me with no intention except what I want to hear. So I must have unintentionally channeled the seasonal change!

This feels very fantastical, I reckon that's what it must look like.
