Daisy's Adagio

By Daisy on October 11, 2022 9:06 pm

Violin and piano--just fell out of me.

I've always loved the tympani featured at the beginning of the Beethoven Violin Concerto.
However, I am no Beethoven--, but I could be Beethoven's potted plant --

My son says it sounds like the fall weather we are having now.Rain, wind and sun-crazy-mixed-up-clouds.

beautiful

It's somehow pretty fast, but just as elegant as always.

Been watching a lot of Great British Bake Off, and I like how they use classical instrumentation/scores for all their music. Netflix tried to suggest Antoni's "Easy-Bake Off" and the difference is vibe is sooo strong, and I think a lot to do with the music (US EBO uses rock music to drive intensity).

GBBO is so pleasant because of the music. And this Adagio reminded me of it because of its pleasantness. Thank you!
