and yeah, this is lovely. the voice memo recording feels appropriate for the song, although could be great fleshed out as well.

re: verses... totally! sometimes when i'm writing, a chorus just feels corny or cloying depending on the song. and don't get me started on bridges

Verses-only songs are awesome. Case-in-point: this song.

Very interesting concept and beautiful execution. The soft, sparse guitar strums reinforce the intimate atmosphere you'd expect when confronted with the kinds of questions posed by the lyrics. Great work on this one.
