Rainbow-Hued Noodles

By Cursory on September 15, 2024 10:18 pm

Happy Week 37! More noodles this week. This took me an embarrassing number of tries to play it (mostly) free of mistakes. This was initially going to done with a pretty clean/neutral guitar tone, but I couldn’t play it well enough to be free of those pesky non-desirable sounds that effects help hide lol. I was also a bit distracted by the arrival of the Chroma Console multi-fx pedal and couldn’t help using it, such a fun tool I’m excited to dig into.

ooh i could swim around in this for hours
that upward lift @ 40 secs is magic
you have not helped with my lust for Chroma Console!
have fun  big_smile

Does the chroma makes this ambience? It sounds like a Polaroid. Very nostalgic and vintage.

Digging the warm fuzzy tone. And the warm fuzzy chord prog too. big_smile

An excellent performance, and kudos for sticking to a technically challenging passage. It's how we improve!

But I wouldn't be myself without whining about the duration. Wish this were longer!

Sounds like a tropical evening, gazing out to the ocean by the fire. Lovely sound and tone, the Chroma sounds great.

It feels like I'm looking at an old photo album and zooming in one that becomes a moving memory.  Beautiful chords and oof that chroma console looks fun smile

sooooo dreamy! This is so beautiful and since it isn't longer I'll have to loop it 1000 times. Really amazing. Favoriting.

Yes! The Chroma Console has a bunch of different effects you can mix and match. I think I used "Sweeten" along with vibrato, a reverb, and tape saturation.

Argh you caught me! Haha thanks for the kind words. I was going to just play it a second time but didn't have any variations/ideas to make it different >.>
