Happy Week 3! Tried to come up with some new ideas or finish something old but nothing was sticking this week and time was scarce. I knew I wanted to get something in before going out of town today, so this week features a "less is more" approach - one track of classical/nylon-string guitar. Trying to just let things breathe a bit and not hide behind layers as I'd like to >.< Some folks on here have submitted beautiful solo piano/guitar tracks which helped give me some motivation/inspiration this week.

Tuning is Drop C for the guitar folks. I think volume is low again... will work on this. Hope everyone's staying warm.

Beautiful!

Lovely! Feels like getting cozy on a cold day.

Nice! Digging the warm sound - perfect for colder weather. heart

actually one of my favs so far. really nice pedal bass. and a nice little song structure! a wonderful thing that was born out of a compromise smile

What a sweet tune. The less-is-more approach was very effective here. Nice job.

Fantastic execution and reminder of less is more.

Absolutely beautiful! I love the almost drone-like feeling that the low string conveys. Also the phrases work perfectly together! thanks for sharing such and intimate and round piece of music

Bravissimo! Perfect

The sound of the strings is wonderful!

Oof this is just eye-watering-ly tender. Feels like something that would perfectly cap a night out with close friends. Super impressive to be able to squeeze out that much emotion and expression with a kind of minimal approach. Love it.

Aww. Thats what the doctor ordered. Thanks!

There's great calm in this.

It was definitely a cold day that I spent mostly inside.

I usually end up with something droney in alternate tunings, just because it makes for easier playing, haha. Thank you!

Thanks! I tried recording in stereo with two mics, not sure if I notice a difference but I hear that's a thing people do sometimes.
