Chilled Noodles

By Cursory on August 17, 2024 6:50 pm

Happy week 33! Some electric guitar noodles for this week. Two weeks in a row is a streak I guess lol I had some other ideas bouncing around but couldn't get them fleshed out, hopefully next week!

I don't really know how the cc licenses work, but I'm probably going to upload most noodly tracks as CC0 if anyone wants to grab some moody guitar samples.

That’s some nice noodling. Puts me right in the mood for ramen. big_smile

ooof that sounds lovely.  the wavy tremolo feels so soothing.  like i should be outside in a hammock.  excellent noodle.

thank you for the Chilled Noodles. that tremolo compliments your expressive playing so nicely.
hope you have a chill week  smile

I love the mood and warm wooden sound of your guitar and your playing. Is it a jazzguitar you have been using?

I love the tone on the guitar here... and the trem is just sooooo nice.  I might actually sample this for a lofi track...

Oh man, this is amazing. So expressive, and the trem effect is PERFECT.

I've never tried using anything on WB that's CC0, but holy cow this is tempting. I may keep this for the future smile

ooooh yeaaaaah, chill noodles indeed. Also tempted to take advantage of the CCO

Ahhh I am so in love with a mellow tremolo these days, this was just delicious. Like the noodles. And the noodling. Really lovely space and such a chilled out mood. Like certain kinds of noodles. Wonderful.

Mission accomplished, my work here is done smile Though I feel like you may often be in the mood for ramen anyway... not that there's anything wrong with that lol

Thank you! I love a good tremolo, and I think you probably should be outside in a hammock whenever possible.

Thanks! It's a Gretsch solidbody electric, I really like how the filtertron pickups sound and am stoked it has that warm character of a jazz guitar here smile

Yesss okay I'm just going to stop making songs and only make CC0 guitar noodles for the rest of the year lol Would be stoked to hear any of you turn this into something more.

Me too! I am in good company after hearing your awesome tremolo guitar this week. We'd both better keep noodling smile

Really get to focus in on your guitar tone in this one. That tremolo is hypnotic. Curious to know your signal path.

Thank you! Not sure how in depth you'd be interested in hearing but there's not too much going on:

Guitar: Gretsch G2923 Double Jet neck pickup -> Behringer UMC404HD interface -> Logic Pro Amp/FX

My default amp sim settings are a modification of the preset "Surfin' in Stereo" which is the Silver Panel Combo with some reverb and tremolo. I think just a bit of compression and that's it.

Oh, I love the deep dives into production and recording. Probably the only reason I make music tongue
This is perfect. Thanks for sharing!
