Hello all!

• 
  Originally I'd done a whole banging techno jam, similar to a few of weeks ago... once again in a couple of airport lounges / planes.   But I've been running around with family and their kids and come Sunday 10pm the thought of recording techno doesn't compute!

• So this is something I'd noodled up earlier today while I was showing my 11yo little cous how the M8 worked.  So I added a little bridge bit, some better drums, then jammed it out in one take. Although it recorded in Mono (config mistake in Reaper).  So it looses a lot in translation to mono.  I consider this a half-finished-song-jammed-out and feel it needs another bridge / build section with some more Triton pads.

• The other reason I was totally wiped out today was because I swam out to the end of a jetty with my older cousin earlier today forgetting I hadn't really swam properly in 3 years.  About 2/3 of the way I was totally outta breath realizing I wasn't as fit as I used to be!  You can't stop in middle of an ocean for a rest, especially with a swell pushing you around, so I treaded water for a bit and keep going as you do.  Easily made it to the jetty ladder, but I was stuffed for the rest of the day. (although I did still win at mini-golf later on in the day!)

So yeah - family holiday vibes - ocean strugglez - lots of food.  I was in the mood for techno while travelling here... but now I've spent a couple of days around fam, it's all chill wishy washy house vibes now.  Tunes ay.  I never quite know what a weekly beat is going to turn into "in the moment".  I hope everyone else is well!
