Synth Noodle (a few takes)

By cTrix on February 11, 2018 11:58 pm

Just noodling on the triton, just live takes.  More of an experiment in bass lines and how they change the mode (?) of the track as you go, but referencing a repeating pattern.  Simple stuff this week.  Just didn't have the energy for anything more (had plans!)
.

This jam makes me want to sell computers.

Sweet study guide.

Haha.... going by the date of the Triton it'd be an Intel Celeron 366 MHz w/ 64MB RAM :-P

Jazz meets the Computer Chronicles? Cool to see you give some love to those workstations. Have you ever used it as a sampler?

Smoove Jazz.

Hehehe.   Naaa, never used it as a sampler.  Had a Zoom Sampletrek and that was easy to program (also used smart media!) and was more suited to my needs.  Only ever used the Korg as a playback rompler / synth.  I've got a fully spececd EMU e6400 that I was given (!) but never ended up using because it has a dead floppy drive and their SCSI hard disk had died too (which is why I'd gotten it in the first place).  At some point I'll fire it up!

going 90's cyber. i like it!

This is the sound of my childhood

no matter what style you go for, everything you do is so ctrix, it's amazing

that marimba sound is hilarious.
