Spirals

By cTrix on April 27, 2014 2:06 pm

And the mind spirals.

This took a very different direction to what I thought it would.  I would maybe have added some more dynamics in places... and would have written better melody...   but I realized if I was going to do this properly I'd go back and do the arp's with the Prophet and the guitar with the Jem, etc...   Might revisit something like this in the future.

Cosmic as fuck! Those drums get crazy detailed. Love the arps too.

Possible contender for the band? Would be great to open a set.

cool

Cool man.  Kind of like a cross between 70s horror soundtrack and the Loveboat theme.  hehe.  Dig those beats and mmmm.. prophet.

This is amazing man! Totally agree with Pselodux on it being a sweet opener. Reminds me of Farcry Blood Dragon hahaha

Wow!!!! Reminds me of classic demoscene music in places... Nice.....

this is super great, kind of a Ozric Tentacles meets 4mat vibe going on here!  were the drums recorded as live midi takes or were they hand-written?

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh god daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn dude.

Excellent track, the drums and the arps made my day!

Oh man, I really really dig the whole progression in this piece - lush and epic chords throughout

Great composition! Really liked the intro and the prog rock. Well done!

Nu jazz fusion-y!

"Arptastic" and the drums keep it earthy and human. The sweeping lead sounds drape the whole thing in some high quality "1982". Is it a band or isn't it? ...Dig that.

Totally deserving of the word "epic."  Bravo!

Love the beat in this and the way the arps tickle around it throughout.  That synth lead is super epic!  Like Jan Hammer should be playing it on a keytar!  Suhweetness!  (that beat is bad-ace!) smile

Thank for all the positive feedback peeps smile.   Been a hard few weeks and it's a great reminder that people actually listen heart

bryface : Drums are actually programmed.  (I can pretty much program very close to how I would play now.  Except it's more in time!!  Still have grid turned off when I program though... :-) )
