Random Break

By cTrix on April 7, 2024 4:43 pm

Random break I sliced up from a jam session recently.  For some reason I really like how the drum sound recorded from that session so I cut it up and threw some random chaos in and around it to see what would happen.

Made in 45 minutes.  I put one of the other breaks from the same jam session in at the end (which isn't as isolated as well).  I really need to do something with it too!  Oh, this is me on drums btw ;-)

You strategically skipped unlucky 13 but I'm glad you're back! The track's very energetic, and the rumbling bass is delicious.

"Made in 45 minutes" as if that's a normal thing. My 3-minute tracks take a day to complete. I'm quite jelly!

damn this sounds so great, breaks super crispy, great drumming

on my TODO list this year was to take enough drum lessons to get my playing to a "recordable" caliber so that i can sample my own breaks lol.  This one sounds real stable and good!

I am impressed so much. This is the drumsound I adore. Very precise.

playing your own breaks, recording them, and chopping them up into something like this (in 45 min!!) is such a big flex.

love the sound dude, great work!

Luv the filter automation on the bass.  MIGHTY are the wubs that make the booties shake... ヾ(⌐■_■)/ ヘ( ̄ー ̄)ノ (~‾⌣‾)~

that ending tho!

Awwww thanks all!  I appreciate anyone still takes the time to listen to my thrown together-jams this year. I mean, they're still from the heart, I just haven't had a lot of time.  Some incredible work you are all doing back.  I was driving for 6 hours this weekend and I just had my phone streaming weekly beats the whole way.  So many amazing tunes peeps been working on heart
