QY70 Back Seat Noodlez

By cTrix on March 12, 2018 12:01 am

Yamaha QY70 attack from the back of my mates car on the way to a wedding!!  Sequenced on hardware on a fresh set of AA batteries.  This is a fun little New jack Swing jam from a device that makes me endlessly smile.
.
update: laptop pretty low - reception is two bars and seems to take forever to upload, gotta run and leave this on back seat.  fingers crossed!!
.
update 2: nope, upload failed! lol.  Thanks wisefire for the link.

Totally boss. Glad you weren't driving. ::)

That's some rad shit.

Glad to help, especially after hearing this. this is so damn juicy, fluid and funky, that it needs a sign warning people of this fact

oh man this is nuts. so many of your tracks belong in a 90s Sega Mega Drive platformer. this has Sonic vibes all over it, but with Cool Spot as the character.

Totally amazed at the quality of the funk you're capable of squezing out of that tiny Yamaha box...

Neat, in love with that funkiness on display. Now *I* want a QY70, haha

:-)  THanks for the love peeps!  Yeah, the QY is a very special little unit.  Esp with a comp and maxxbass on the final bus.  Just comes to life.  The XG samples Yamaha crafted were actually very good back in the 90's.  So much more wholesome than Roland IMHO.
