Jag Intro Theme (Atari Jaguar)

By cTrix on April 22, 2012 6:42 pm

Soooo... Atari Jaguar was a games console that has Wavetable synthesis, FM synthesis, FM Sample synthesis and AM synthesis!  But it turns out the indie dev community are still trying to figure the hardware out, and a ported Amiga MOD replayer actually serves as an easy way to get music to play.  For some reason I've been asked to keep the files under 56kb (including uncompressed PCM samples).  So this is the title theme for a new Atari Jaguar game a few of us have been workin' on ;-)    Although I fear a Scandinavian voice might arise over my shoulder ... "this is supposed to be a game sound track, not a f**king demo tune".  Oh well.  Ammmiiiigggaaaaa!  (fade out is at loop point)

This is totally game intro material. Euro style. Reminds me of the good stuff, you know, like Olof Gustafsson. Really like it!

Who says a game soundtrack can't sound like a demo tune? I don't see why not.

Sexy as fuck

boss. whatever game this is getting put into just got way cooler.

This is groovy. Is there any more clear info on the Jerry chip? What are the specs for the FM?

brilliant!!! cool

You've got this shit down dude.

badass theme. all over this

This song is like candy.  I's crunchy, smooth and sweet as hell

Sensual

always wanted an atari jaguar (especially when it came out lol!)

When I was a kid I wanted a Jaguar so bad... I...I think I need to go to eBay now...

This song is sexy as hell.

Sweet sounds... more swanky than sexxxy though.  And slippery.  Great sounds and super smoove

haha... Akira, funny you mention Blaizer / The Silents (and TBL) because I pulled appart his early MOD files when I was a kid and learnt more than from any other files at the time.  I literarily studied Pinball Dreams intro tune for days.  It was the highlight of Asm '06 when I saw his name in the intro credits of Starstruck in the demo compo (and then they won!)

WOW! Super catchy theme tune.

more like intro theme to my life amirite

heart heart heart

One of the few tracks I've downloaded from week 16. Stand out!

Could even stand to be a minute longer big_smile

^^ Thanks!  I will prolly do an extended mix / version of it sometime.
