Beach House tekBass Jams (live on M8)

Been catching up with fam down on an island (of all places!). Delightful weekend... beach walks, coast breezes and excellent food! Sat in bed on the Friday night with my m8 after everyone had gone to bed (lots of wine) and made the foundations of this little jam. Had to use "bargain bin" headphones I found in an office supplies store coz I forgot to pack headphones, doh!
Got home today, and hit record on a live-take (M8) and just played it live off the unit. Lots of FM in here which has way way tooooooo many layers of Envelopes and LFOs doing chaotic stuff. And the hand clap makes me laugh!
I was going to add some more variation to the bass, and almost did a second take, but pass filtering the bass was playing havoc with the compressors and I kinda like how it just bumbles along like a late 90's tekkers tune. Probably goes a couple of minutes longer than it should have, but playing live always takes a tune on a journey of it's own! Besides, I was on Island time
