Electroplankton experiment #001

Electroplankton for the Nintendo DS came out 20 years in 2006. it is a synthesizer game.  I've owned it since it came out, and said I was gonna do something with it once I found the proper cable which I never bothered looking for. It takes 20 years to find one when you don't try.  I went to a flea market last weekend, and finally I tried to find the cable (male to male audio) got it on my first go. Got it set up in audacity and recorded a little performance. I cannot hear what I am playing while I am playing it. So that might require some fiddling.

Done with hanenbow, and audacity to eliminate the excess dead air.

it took 20 years, but I got there.

Wanna do more, but kids are coming over. I only dug out my DS to check if the battery was still okay because my much younger PSP battery has swelled. The DS still holds a charge.

Aw, Elektroplankton! Strange DS concept, and an even stranger Smash Bros. stage, but a cute and interesting project nonetheless. heart Wishing they'd bring it back in some form. Pretty performance!

Beautiful and playful. I think you can maybe solve your can't hear audio while playing issue by using your H6 as an audio interface for recording maybe? Then you should be able to monitor.

this is so fun - love the sounds

so whimsical and bubbly, worth the 20 year wait I'd say!

The electroplankton are swimming with you, bloop

I have spontaneously recalled another music game, Sound Shapes. I never did have the patience to try to make levels/songs in it myself, but maybe it is a weekly beat in waiting?

oh wow this is so cool

Oh yeah that Smash bros level I had to explain to niece and nephews!  It would be a great game for pretty much any phone these days. Nintendo doesn't seem to like putting stuff not on Nintendo systems. Thank you!

I did not know of that one! It looks cool and I missed it. It might be a weekly beats test out project. If you do use it I look forward to it.  I know you can do stuff in DREAMS for the PS4... huh, I guess that's another project lol.
