Weightless

Things have just felt so heavy lately and I wanted to imagine being weightless.

A great aspiration, shit feels heavy right now for sure. I feel a little lighter after listening to this, thank you! Fantastic composition, love that piano part over everything. Cool changeup at 1:50 then 3 it really goes off. You always pack in the variety!

What a great build-up!  It really feels good when it finally "breaks" around 3:03.  Cool melody to go out on!

This is so shiny and light. lovely composed. The sounds are mystic and full of energie. And the mix and master are excellent.

Woah this is beautiful!

the middle part with the saw is wild!

great job!

I feel weighless and floaty. And watching mysterious beautiful things pass by as I float. Love saw, and the horns especially. Nice work capturing the feeling. It is so nice to escape some of the heaviness all around with some light.
ooh, I like how in the end we get to a full band sound, arrival!

that whole intro section is so epic and dreamy! hooray for the singing saw  big_smile

the intro chords indeed took me away from all the heaviness.  When the saw comes in it feels like I just broke through the clouds and those lil synthy blips are stars in the distance.  Awesome heroic outro when the drums and guitar kick in.  Hope this week was a bit lighter for you too.

It’s funny as I haven’t been very well of late and just hit play and closed my eyes and pictured myself flying over an ever expanding landscape like one of those drone videos. Then I opened my eyes to read your description and noticed the title, perfect match.

it is indeed sounding weightless and very airy. Great feeling and feels very honest in its beauty and calmness. The guitar gives it a nice earthy base and then the middle part jumps in with great cosmic feeling. I appreciate very much how you could include interesting left-field elements here without breaking the mood. Spicy but soothing. The epic rock outro is great addition as well. This is very cinematic in its structure. Thanks!

Thanks!  I tend to try to end most tracks differently than they started, although I've got nothing against a nice repetitive drone once in a while.  smile

Glad to hear the "break" works.  I wasn't sure if it contrasted too much with the mood of the rest of the track, but it felt cathartic to me.

Thanks!  I just knew some saw was needed in here.

Thanks!  I wasn't sure if I should bring the full band sound in at the end, but it felt right to me.

Thanks!  The singing saw always does some heavy lifting.

Thanks!  It's always nice to visit some clouds and stars I think.

Nice.  Glad to hear the visuals it gave matched the description and hope you're feeling better.

Thanks!  I kind of just felt each section out as I went.  I wasn't sure if the rock outro broke the mood too much, but it was what I felt like doing, so it went in.
