Water Wizard

By Cosmic Cairns on September 21, 2022 10:27 pm

Just noodling on some synths this week.  I had a really nice trip to Boston and Maine last week, but returning to the daily grind this week has left me feeling a little ugh.  Hard to believe it's already week 38.  Feels like we're entering the home stretch.  Here's hoping for a strong push to the end!

Just nice to mix up a little sonic potion once in a while.

Lots of interesting synth textures for the ear.  Very calming and pleasing smile

Water Wizard - what a cool title.
Yes, this is the last stretch of the year! With the potential for good thematic tracks with halloween, christmas, and the finale of the year.

magic!

Flowing and rotating at the same time. Really partial to that animated synth sound, you know the one. heart

Thanks.  I think I needed a little bit of calm.

True.  I'll have to start thinking of themes...

Oh wow.  I just saw that exact lighthouse a couple weeks ago.  Cool!

Thanks!  It's always fun to pick out sounds.

Great things happening here. Love the synths, great stereo separation, it's coming at me from all the sides! I feel like I'm out at night by that lighthouse.

Thanks!  I believe this is what the lighthouse sounds like.

I stayed in York for a couple nights, but not right by the Nubble lighthouse.  We drove up there at night, so I got to see it lit up, but I couldn't see the surrounding area all that well since it was pretty dark.  Not sure if the ice cream stand is still there, but I visited a few ice cream stands during my stay.  They really like their ice cream in Maine!
