Upside Down

By Cosmic Cairns on July 29, 2016 3:54 am

Sometimes when I was a kid I used to like to turn myself upside down and pretend the ceiling was the floor and that I was in some kind of upside down world where furniture hung from the ceiling and light fixtures sprouted out of the ground.  Actually sometimes I still think it's fun to do that.  Anyway, here's a song I wrote about it.

Love it. The vocal channels interplay amazingly.

Did the same thing. Lift your legs high when you go through a doorway. ::)

Fun song!

Thanks I didn't get too crazy, but I did play around a little with the backing vocals and whatnot.

Yeah!  I'm not sure how clearly the lyrics come through the mix, but I did include a line about "there's a step up to each door."

Ah yes many head rushes when I was a kid smile Hanging on a swing and such! A fun track indeed!

Fun song, I like that you were inspired by childhood memory. I think we should all get back to that childlike fun more often.

Nothing better than Dancing on Ceiling too!

Great vocal melody in here complimented with some sweet guitar. Excellent!

Thanks guys!  I think childhood memories are an excellent source of inspiration to mine.

Yeah, I'm still sort of playing around with the new pedal  I can't wait to figure out what all it can do.

Cool track, fits the childhood inspiration very nicely.
Really like the guitar playing in this.

Thanks!  I had fun putting the guitar parts together on this one.

Beautiful track. Greatest guitarsolo ever in the middle. I love your melodies.
