I felt like knocking out something a little quick and dirty this week that hopefully rocks a little. It's also kind of another venting song. Seems like I need to vent more for some reason lately...

Psyche!

This rocks! I love the punk energy! The chaotic section before the end was great, I got a "about to break instruments" Nirvana vibe there.

That was nice to start the week!

It does rock. The verses have this cool muted speak-sing thing that feels like a cousin to hardcore. But the chorus is fantastic! Love the way the drums and bass break out into this heavy surf groove. And the fast guitar tremolo lets all the anger rush into the song. My favorite is the breakdown solo (trio?), with three layers of noisy, honking chaos to protest the "peace" under the sky

You make a good point. I kind of hate when instruments get destroyed. Those are perfectly good instruments that didn't do anything to deserve it. But a good kick sounds about right.
