I did an instrumental this week.  Mostly used microkorg and just kind of had a fun time jamming this thing out.  Hope you enjoy.

Kooky stuff dude. I like the mistiming and drunken swizzley beepy boops. Reminded me of when Yoshi eats a weird mushroom and screen goes all wavey... good stuff smile

Fun Track big_smile
You really sqeeze differnt things out of that microkorg wink... reminds me that i should use mine again some time...

Very complex rhythmically; leaking fun all over the place. Much enjoyed!

I enjoyed very much as well! the flangey/bouncey/crispy mix is pretty dope big_smile

Very cool! Sounds like you had a lot of fun making this.

Oh yeah!  I remember when Yoshi did that.  I can totally see that.

I haven't had it very long so it's still kind of my "new toy."  But I'm pretty impressed with it so far.

Hey thanks!  I think I managed to squeeze a few cool sounds out just playing around.  smile

Thanks!  Yeah, it was pretty fun actually.

Some cool sounds. Kind of reminds me of mark mothersbaugh solo stuff. I like that build up of the bass synths towards end. Fun jam!

Thanks!  That buildup is probably my favorite part.  I would have actually liked to have it go on a little longer, but I had a glitch when I was recording the basic rhythm track and it cut off right there which pretty much dictated the length of the track.  I didn't know what the rest of the song was going to be yet, so I figure it was ok if it ended there but by the time I got to layering on all the other parts I wished it had gone on maybe 30 seconds longer.  Oh well.

Aptly named track as the arpy synths sound like they're trying to jump off the beat.  This was a fun listen!

Yeah I liked the effect of those synths trying to escape.  Thanks!

Ha! All my song lengths are determined by how long I can play before I fuck it up. Represented in chart form by the intersection of two lines:  A) Number of mistakes and B) Desire to go back and fix.

Definitely sounded like you were working up to more.  Would like to hear that!

Bouncy good fun! Nice sounds and creative explorations!

Yeah, mistakes (and laziness) often dictate song lengths.  It's kind of funny.

Hey thanks!  Gotta get that bounce on sometimes.  smile

This has a nice archaic Cluster vibe! I love the way how it grows to the end. Very refreshing stuff in its directness. Cool...

Hey thanks!  I think Cluster is a new comparison for me.  I will gladly take it!
