Juice Truce

This is a little interlude thing done on the iris2 virtual synth.  Nothing fancy, but it does the trick.

Nice interlude with a festival of sounds. That section from 0:53 gave me goosebumps. That is the fantastic start to a synthwave journey! Maybe you can revisit that in the future! There is a pad that sounds like a phone modem through a vocoder - what a wonderful static sound!

Gave me some bladerunner/cyberpunk feels especially at that :53 mark.   Agree with Kedbreak136 that modemy_pad sounds suhweet!  Quite the journey for a little interlude smile

This has a bunch of electric interferences in the mix. I really like this. Nice.

really cool direction from you!

those rhythmic synths really carry things forward. Dig the higher pitched glitchy electrical sounding elements sitting on top of the mix. Really great soundscape.

loving electroCairns

wow that thing at :48 was wild, love the non sequitur

found this sad/lamenting in a good way

I do like the atmosphere here.  It's certainly something I could revisit later to develop more.  Thanks for listening!

I can see that Bladerunner vibe, now that you mention it.  It really is fun to just play around with different sounds and mash them together and see what happens.

There we go!  That gif really sells the vibe.

I used those synths as the foundation and just built from there.  Then it was just a matter of finding some cool sounds to pile together.

electroCairns will probably make some more appearances this year.  Sometimes when I'm feeling uninspired or stressed out it's just easier to play with some synths and make some cool noises.

Oh man, some awesome sounds in this one.  That super clipped lead is fantastic

Very cool. A good hierarcy between the sounds…i like how the different sounds work together, in their own registers. I also like that change after a minute or so. Very dramatic. A nice one!

Cool piece, a fun departure. What a title, I expected some fun lyrics with that title. I think the future electroid beings who listen to this will be at peace after years of juice wars. Turns out they didn't need juice after all!

I love the sound palette here, really great variety of different tones and they complement each other perfectly!

"but it does the trick"

and it delivers a treat.

Thanks!  I do like how the sounds ended up blending together.

This sounds like a good storyline for sure.  Perhaps this is just one moment in the epic juice saga.

Thanks!  Maybe I should have saved this one for Halloween.  smile

There does seem to be a sense of urgency on this one.
