How CosmicCairns Got His Groove Back

By Cosmic Cairns on September 25, 2014 11:37 pm

A miniature pop epic in which our protagonist CosmicCairns is initially surrounded by the unending magical properties of the universe before eventually getting beaten down by life and soul-crushing jobs.  But then one day he slips between the cracks and gets his groove back, as represented by the end section.

I didn't know you'd lost it. Has the vibe of classic late-period Beatles.

Thanks!  I guess I wouldn't say I ever completely lost it, but maintaining a good groove in life in general is certainly a constant challenge.  I don't know, I just kind of liked the idea of writing a song about getting my groove back.  It seems kind of positive and whatnot.

Very nice, and happy to hear you got it back smile

Dude, this is so awesome and indeed, epic! And that chorus melody is so sweet and catchy. This is one of my favorite tracks you've done this year. And! that ending is wicked groovy. Your guitar/instrumental explorations deliver the goods, as usual.  smile
