Awesome man, very well written song.  I especially love the lyrics, very poetic.  I'm getting a really big like old school skater/surfer rock vibe from the tune.  Sounds like something the Shins, Modest Mouse, or Built to Spill would write.

Your songs always have something very lovely and unique the way you perform. I love the multible voices, the instrumentation and of course the phenomenal solos. This one is brilliant and sounds very good on my monitors.

I'm really bad at keeping track of what effect I use on songs.  I have 3 effects pedals that have a lot of different sounds on them and I'll usually just scroll through sounds until I find one that feels like it fits whatever song I'm working on.  But then I don't write down what I use and I forget.

Thanks!  I feel like I'm always trying to see if I can add one more element like an extra vocal or another guitar line without taking away from what's already there. Glad this one seems to have come out good.

Thanks!  I like robots, too.  And flying.  Well, I like the idea of flying anyway.  The actual experience of flying on a commercial plane isn't so awesome, but if I could fly my own little craft.  Or just fly like Superman.  Now we're talking.

Yeah, I didn't want to go overboard with the cello, but I thought it added a nice little bit of flavor.  Glad you liked the guitar solo also.
