Binary Star

There's not really a big story behind this one.  I just kind of wanted to do some sort of "space excursion" type of track, so I sat down and just kind of jammed this thing out mostly on my bass and korg triton.  Hope you enjoy the journey!

Nice man, nailed the deep space vibe.  The big reverb on the drums, and that beepy lead that comes in at 2:50 are definitely helping with that.  The outro is nuts man, love the chaoticness.

Very cool, nice choice of sounds.

I did enjoy the journey. CosmicCairns Spacelines will be my first choice for interstellar travel in the future.

It was a nice, relaxing trip.

Such a great trip. I love the combination of the bass and your synthsounds. I is very Sauer-Kraut!!!

Thanks!  The outro was sort of a spontaneous decision.  I knew I was at the end of the song, so I felt free to kind of mess around with the knobs and stuff and get weird.  I figured if I didn't like what happened it would be super easy to remove without affecting the rest of the song.

Thanks!  It was definitely fun to just mess around and find different sounds to use.

We've got cheap tickets right now.  That damn corona virus caused a lot of cancellations.

Thanks!  I was enjoying just riding on some mellow sounds for awhile there.

I was briefly thinking about adding some guitar, but I liked the bass and synth vibe, too, and thought it was enough at the end of the day.

You definitely got that space feeling! Super cool vibes, I like the chippy-sounding synths near the end.

RAD. Did you watch the recent Space X launch?

Triton sounds wild!

Thanks!  It's fun to go into space once in awhile.

I had to work while it was actually going on, but I heard it was cool.  I should find some video of it to watch.

Thanks!  Choosing the textures was the fun part of this for sure!

Enjoyed the super spacey calming vibes and then the blast off chaotic ending especially.  Nice work!

Thanks!  I did enjoy those calm parts actually.  Might have to do some more exploring in that direction.

Jamming out can be the most fun.  A good break from your larger pieces I'm sure!

Yeah.  There's really nothing wrong with a good jam.
