Moon Presence

This is my 70th WB track and the one I've spent the most time on by far. I came up with the intro riff ~5 years ago but never did anything with it so I decided to use that as the foundation this week. I've played guitar lately but not really practiced, so I knew that I had to start early in the week to have time for all the tracking that I wanted to do. I managed to stick to the plan and it actually went better than I thought.

I've always been very self-critical when it comes to recording instruments, but WeeklyBeats is really helping me to improve that, and to not worry too much about it (next step is vocals.. wink). Thanks WB, and thanks to everyone in the community! smile

This is great, I like all the different sections and it sounds quite clean!

what a ride, i was all pumped up and chilling at the end. thank you, great change of pace. fav

Nice! That main riff is terrific. And great contrast with the sustained b section. This sounds so clean and polished! Some great tones, and love the nylon string mixed in there.

I love all the sections of this, but 3:26+ deserves special mention because of how it keeps the urgency while stripping off the intensity—it's so different and fits so well.

Hell yes! I would mosh to this! Love the energy thrashing all the way through. That nylon section is a real treat. Great work on recording this - you did a really great job.

Great riffs and structure to this tune.  Banging my head!  Love the breakdown

Thanks everyone! I normally struggle to come up with variety in my tracks but I felt that got into a nice creative flow with this one. I have more ideas on the same theme so I might continue with a part II later in the year smile

Great vibe!! So rifftacular!!

manz is actually headbanging at his desk right now...

Really beautiful outro with the acoustic as well...

Awesome!
