After weeks of having no motivation and a huge lack of creativity, something sparked me this week.  I had fun making this one.  Decided last minute to throw some "rap" vocals in there (IDK, I didn't sing it, rap/spoken word/whatever).  This one kinda just flowed together; I love when that happens.  Also this is the first time I didn't start my WB late in the weekend so I didn't feel as rushed.  Hope it turned out well!

This is another one that goes out to JLW - still on my mind man.  R.I.P. my friend.

Nice man, good to hear your getting some motivation again.  Same thing happened with me this week, its a good feeling.  I'm loving all the guitar parts in this song, there's so much going on that it definitely warranted multiple listenings. The spoken word lyrics sound cool as hell man, works super well over this kind of music.

It works pretty good. The end with your vocals really reminds me of some of linkin park parts. Very nice guitars.

It was quite the opposite for me this week, started only today and didn't put that much time in my track.

It is all good. Happy you had fun doing this one.

Thanks man!  Wasn't sure how the lyrics fit; I'm glad you like them.

Thanks for listening!  It felt great to have some creativity and motivation for the first time in a long while.  Hope you enjoyed it.

There's some powerful energy flowing here. The rap is a nice touch, Nu Metal never dies it seems.

Thanks, Devieus, appreciate you listening.  I'm glad the "rap" part worked; I was pretty unsure of it.  Experimenting with new styles is pretty fun though.

I dig how the vocals make an appearance 2 minutes in. Very unorthodox. You get to appreciate the track itself, then almost are presented with a "new track" two minutes in. Solid work. Glad the motivation is back in gear.

Damn man! This is real good stuff, I love this style. Guitar layers were on point, drums were on point and those lyrics fit the pocket perfectly.

Thanks boys.  I hadn't thought about the vocals coming in so late as unorthodox but you're right.  I kinda just picked a spot where they fit.  Thanks for the compliments

the spoken word / rap is perfect - love it.

sorry for your loss, great tribute.

Hey thanks, I appreciate it.  Glad you liked it.  Thanks for listening.

such beautiful guitarparts. clean and overdriven, both work well with the punchy drums. excellent.

Wow, this is so complete for a weeks work, great lyrics and you got a great voice.

Great track. The guitar layers are awesome and the rapping vocals work perfectly there.

Congrats man, having that motivation and spark is such a nice feeling. Love the dark vibes from that gritty guitar and the driving drums.

sorry for your loss. love the whole thing, pleasantly surprised at each turn. The distortion has a nice classic grunge sound
