Precession

Been watching Venus and Jupiter in the sky a lot lately on my way home from work.

This one's a little lazy; it's a two chord vamp with a bit of noodling synth on top. I've spent more time this week on rearranging my gear and my midi routing and audio routing, and it's in an "easier to just get going" state but not in an "adjust it afterwards" way, which bothers me a bit. I do always try to record in a way that will resemble the finished state but sometimes I need to make a little change - here it was the kick being a little too punchy.  I probably should've re-recorded these tracks to separate them better, but I probably also should've made this more than a vamp. It's a nice enough vamp, but still.

I think I'm finding that as I do this every week, I'm maybe ready to take a break (I do not actually intend to take a break, but I somewhat feel like it). But I also want to get to week 52 without interruption, so sometimes I guess I shall be a little lazy.
