Glad to hear it! Actually all the parts are played on an electric bass at 1/4 speed, and then the tape was sped up. i cannot do even tremolos at that speed. it is interesting to think about the physics of that technique, i think it is like a simulation of the instrument being smaller and the strings being thinner (i am not sure about that, but with microphone recordings it is certainly simulating making the room smaller)
That sounds about right. It's a useful technique for any circumstance, just lower the tempo and it's so much easier to hit the mark.
