the question of waaaa

it's surprising what delay buffers can do. this is chuck todd on NBC interviewing kellyanne conway back in 2016, and guess what? he is a great throat singer, with just the help of a little delay buffer action.

this is certainly the most "mainstream" submission for me this time around -- there is both a drum track and a bass!

question: is this too short? as in, does it seem unfinished? i am trying to avoid redundancy but i wonder if i should play with this a little longer. what do you think?

thanks for checking in!

love this. very granular and nice effects. mixed with some good drums and synths. this is great!

Yes, this is great! I was interested and engaged for the whole thing, so I call it done!

Very cool track! Could use a Chris Cunningham style video as accompaniment smile

holy shiznips. this is sick! love the glitchiness and alternative facts sampling. I think the length is good. too much longer would melt my brain (compliment). A longer house / club remix would be awesome, though. I love experimental sampling. stretching, glitching, granulizing. keep it up!

haha jfc this was a great track. i'm like laughing and also weirded out.
what a strange time we lived through / are living through.
this actually made me feel better.

Thanks! I wasn't sure about the drums so I'm glad to hear you like them.

OK good to know. I was definitely tired there at the end...

that is a GREAT IDEA. Chris, if you read this, hit me up. No srsly, I wish I could do at least some basic video editing, but it seems like so much work...

awesome! so happy your brain was starting to soften XD Remix definitely also a GREAT IDEA. Unfortunately I don't speak dance, but have my stems and go to town!

guys, i'm so happy i came back to WB -- thank you so much for your kind notes and great (GREAT) ideas!

So cool. A very nasty effect. I like the beats too.

haha, love it when he's just waaaaaaa. Who knew Chuck was such a good throat singer? I guess I didn't know delay buffers could do this. Got the classic quote in here "alternative facts", nice. Enjoyed this. Yeah maybe length good just right for what it is. It could erupt into some upbeat dance madness as a next evolution though.

Awesome, thanks! Sometimes the simplest effects are still... effective :-)

I am wondering about a remix, indeed. yeah i've been messing with this one effect unit for quite some time and like to think i'm pushing it pretty far to get the weirder sounds. glad to hear it's working!

Oooh this dark and sinister aaaaaaaaaaaaF.  Love how that bass line just immediately says watch out when it comes in warbling.  The percussive elements sound great on top of the vocal bendings.  Well done!
