Colorcast Cobraroll (Supa Dumb Edition)

By Colorcast on December 30, 2025 12:47 am

Hello world! I'm new to this weeklybeats thing.

Had this sitting around for a while and decided to extend it for Week #1. It's a really bassy electronica thing with an out-of-nowhere change to something that sorta resembles ambient music. Got this done in like 3.5 hours. I doubt anything else I make for weeklybeats will sound like this (unless I get a good idea).

I didn't come up with the name of this song. If I remember who did, I'll edit this.

Sweet track! That drop out in the middle that moves into a whole second portion of the song was a cool change up.

Awesome track, love that opening bass sound.  Gotta love a super low growly bass. Great work.

Solid! Love the bass and pads. Welcome Colorcast, looking forward to hearing your stuff!

Bassy indeed !!! Nice chords and chiptune / Amiga intro melody.

Are those percussions some Roland 707/727 cocktail ???

IMHO the second half of the track around the 2 minute mark really takes off. The organ-like pad makes things more cohessive.

Happy new year and welcome to Weeklybeats !!!

Excellent first submission. Welcome!

Really digging those leads, and that ethereal wispy sound is amazing.

Welcome! Love the C64 style leads :3
Second part is great too!

Great bass, nice change up later as well. Looking forward to checking out more of your stuff

super fat bass on the intro, love that

Slick bass line and leads that groove nicely with the drums.  Excellent change midway that leads into the pads.

well done and welcome to WB26 that lead sound like the M8 wavsynth, mod wheel, pitch bend for the win!
