improv 12 — hungry mice

By Coauctor on March 25, 2018 5:53 pm

Improvising for Weekly Beats. Exploring improvisation as a practice of being here and now.
Self-imposed limitations:

• Digital piano as an input device (Yamaha P35)
• Limited warm-up before a recording
• No edits after the recording is made
• Four new VSTs for the year, one for each season

Spring VST: Lumikko by Native Instruments

Still fighting with the new VST. Also, rules are rules so I didn't cut the failed part.
Mental image: hungry mice lurk in the underkitchen tunnels.

Thank you! I'm glad you found it enjoyable despite my playing mistakes.

Wow, this made my day when I read it. Thank you. I figured out how to handle monophony so hope you check out the next one!

Thanks! Actually, using broader range and arpeggios, I'm kinda coping with a monophony.

You kinda have to at this point, but you only just begun this season.
