improv 21 — broken wing

Improvising for Weekly Beats.
My rules:

• Digital piano as an input device (Yamaha P35)
• Limited warm-up before a recording
• No edits after the record is done
• Four new VSTs for the year, one for each season

Spring VST: Lumikko by Native Instruments

This record should have been the last case of using Lumikko VST this spring but...
Two words: Windows update. My PC forgot DAW's license and the licensing software just broke.
So I was forced to find a workaround. Decided to capture the improv using my field recorder.

Sorry for the noise and length.
I got carried away.

Mental image: a medium-sized bird is trying to fly again.

the field recording gives the song a nice ambiente. I can even hear birds in the backround. Well done.

Very well done on the piano.

Thank you! Sometimes we get very strange lemons to make a lemonade. smile

Thanks! Poly is great. I was happy to record a "raw" piano.
