Sōseiji

By Claxon on April 29, 2018 9:56 pm

Sōseiji - Twin or Twins, as in 2 beings created at the same time, look/sound similar. but are still 2 different entities.

Wisefire and I teamed up for a collab, but only sharing some midi and doing the rest individually. With the matrix theme I got going and the Japanese thing he's doing we decided to go for the twins characters from the matrix and translate the word twins to Japanese. I heard some nice techno grooves in the chords, but had too little time for that so I ended up with something a bit well ehh I don't know I guess it's a little synth and a little eighties but not quite synthwave... Anyhow: Enjoy!

Ooh yes! soo much yes! i haven't heard your version, as i was busy composing my own. Love what you've done to the bassline. And the addition of the arp. Love it (but i may be a little biased wink )

I came here after listening to wisefire's track. It's really cool to hear them back to back and see the quite different paths they took.  Yours is more mellow and "smooth" but no less enjoyable.

OMG. I love this.

super smooth... it's a little eighties for sure, ha!

Bass is great here too! I really enjoyed the panned/delayed stabs playing with the bassline, adds beautiful depth!

Super organized, and the bass is boss. Much liked.

You got me with that punchy bass and that claps...
Smoooth synth-pop, really enjoyed it big_smile

Also very nice. I should mix both versions and see what it sounds like.

Love the chord progression and the suhweet bassline that drives the track.  Well done!
