Waiting?

Not much creative energy this week, so I decided to take a crack at this ditty that may sound familiar.  Wish I had a little more time though, I wanted to make it a lot more trippy/spacey but oh well.

Not sure what's going on with the mix at the end either, but no time to fix.  Just imagine it sounds fine.

oooh, the vocal processing is so cool! love the little resonant synth pulses over the top smile

Sure does, and this rendition takes it in a really cool direction. Nice work!

I'm sure the trippy/spacey vibes will come, but for now this is a nice stepping stone on the way.

Oh my goodness
that is all

That's not all, I loved it.

gives me total air 2000 vibes, so cool!

Ah yes Zero 7 had me lovin that album when it first came out.  Really neat idea with the vocal harmonization this had me sing/hummin along smile

Excellent track, felt the vibe!

love this! favorited

Nice!  ... though now I'm gonna have listen to the whole Garden State OST again... (〜^∇^)〜

this right here!

Those bass lines are super smooth and have a great tone. How did you make the vocals? Are these samples? A singer for this track? The vocals sound really great. Super pro track.

Do remind me what the ditty is from.
Nice composition and interesting use of sound, if a bit muddy at times, but it certainly sounds nice.

Thanks!  Had to try to stay true to the original a little bit

Yeah, for sure.  I don't have enough time this year but I'll have some stuff to come back to for next in 2025.

Dude, I get so into them every couple of years.  Their old stuff has aged so well.

Zach Braff aside, there was actually a lot of good tunes in that movie.

Thanks, big into the p-bass sound lately.  Vocals are actually done on a vocaloid called Synthesizer V.  Check it out if you haven't.  They have a pretty compressive free version if you can live without using it within your DAW.

Thanks!  Yeah, definitely a bit muddy.  I will clean it up some week when I don't have time to write a full song.
