So like if Gab and Ipaghost made tracks, and those tracks had a kid

Anyone know what happened to Gab?  I miss hearing that guys beats every week, hope he’s good.

My buddy Matt who I collabed with last week is going to be adding some sweet modular sounds to this track.  I’ll post the final on IG tomorrow.

What a neat track and a happy family. smile May there be many such kids to come!

Love the Weekly Beats-centric title and I'm glad I understand the reference.  I have no idea what happened to Gab.  I miss his tracks, too.  This is a really fun one, by the way. Although just out of curiosity what's the deal with the lengthy silence at the end?  I let it play out thinking maybe there was a hidden track like at the ends of CD's back in the day...

I bet the French quarter of WB knows best. Sometimes people just kinda stop doing this, it's nothing to be too concerned about.

I can definitely feel the hint of Gab and Ipa in this, at least in the part where there's music, there's like 3 and a half minutes of silence at the end there for some reason.

This is groovy baby.  love the gab/ipa title.  the sounds youve been pushing out over there are great, a lot of them it seems like its the first time im hearing something like it.  nice work bud, ill keep my eye out for the iG post

I'll send him the track, pretty sure he will be touched. What he told me was that he stressed out every week last minute to release something. That doing it itself was kind of fun but that He was putting himself loads of pressure every week and that he didn't need that at the moment. We live uncertain time, and he had enough stress with his life... Like I said to him, you did a complete year already, you have nothing to prove...

This is great, you managed to combine Gab's synths and ipa's mental rhythms really well. The part at 57 secs is my favourite, I love how wet and noisy those cymbals are with that offbeat rhythm. Really cool sound, it's great to see you trying out so much new stuff!

Lovely track with lovely synths. I like the nice airy pads floating on top of that killer bass! I'm sincerely humbled by the mention too, thanks Chris heart and thank you djippy for the heads up!

I'm doing fine, I just needed to put a few things on hold, to catch my breath. I also wanted to focus on finishing my album and I'm happy to say that it's coming out next Friday! I might be back in the later half of WB, a year is a long time after all. Wish you the best until then!

Shiiiiittttt, sorry about all the silence at the end.  There is no secret ending, totally didnt realize that I added all the silence.  Sorry/thanks for those who listened till the end though.  Shit was artsy though, right?

Gab, good to hear you're alive man.  I tried to take a break to work on an album too but quarantine is killing me so its not happening.  Please let me know where I can get your album on Friday!

I feel ya man, quarantine taking its toll on me is part of the reason I had to step back. It's not easy making these concessions but I think it's normal, all things considered. I wish you the best and hope your days brighten!

Album's going to be on gabmanette.bandcamp.com, and the following week on streaming (spotify, etc). I think you've heard a lot of what's on it in some form on WB already hehehe smile

My legacy is secured!

Glad to hear your doing ok! The wb stress is real. Maybe we should mash up our songs!

Sweet stuff! Perfect blend of styles. I really like the concept.

Lol love the title.  You nailed the sounds perfectly.

From what I understand Gab was a little burnt out.  He currently has an album slated to come out tomorrow (05/29/2020) that I believe has been taking up a majority of his time.

Haha, thanks dudes.  Yeah its important to note that the track came first, and the title came while I was submitting.  I wasnt going for a mix of their sounds, it just sort of happened.

Haha! Awesome idea and perfectly executed! That bass is sick.

Dig that bassline a bunch.  The drum changes give it a nice progressive pace too.  The title is very fitting tho smile
