Regression

Good to be back!  I'm kinda on the fence on this track.  From a song writing standpoint I let it go stale, so I'm not too pumped on the lyrics.  But if you stick around until about 3/4 of the way though, you will hear an arp solo which is arguably the coolest think I've ever created in my DAW (it was also a complete accident).

For the next few weeks, I've decided to take a little break from song writing so I can focus on polishing some tracks that I already have to release them.  I did pick up a new synth this week though, a Modal Argon8, so I will be submitting some exploration tracks with it for the next few WB.

you're a hit machine! infectious bassline, the rimshots, the little synth swells.

that arp solo is dirty. musical accidents that work are the best.

seriously you can just pump 'em out.  Great production as usual.  I love the changeup in sound and, yes, that nasty little arp solo.  Nice job

Thanks dude, glad you liked it!

You're right about the arp. Sounds sick.

When the drums pick up it changes the mood so fast and I love it. The synth towards the end caught me off guard in the best way. Great job!

I really like those synth flourishes! And you were right, that arp solo is awesome smile

ahh where to begin?  The bass lines are top notch, and honestly, even if you think the lyrics are stale ( i dig them), its impressive you're able to put together a full length song of full lyrics.  That alone is tough as hell.

Fully agree, those drums fit so well and really picks the song up.

Arp solo is a great cherry on top, because that was fggin awesome

Oh shit, that punchy bass line is sweet! Great vocals and arrangements.  I like how it picks up towards the end.  And the synth lead is rad!  Your vocals sound great pushing into the upper range.  The broken chord (arpeggio) on the guitar is really pretty and understated as well. Nice, nice work!

impressive work, keep it up

Great fucking vocals again. Guitar too. I like when the tempo kicked up at the end, breaks it away from the rock ballad it really doesn't want to be.

Its a relief to see you back and churning them out. Obvs that arp is wild, but great over all too!
Can't wait to hear some Argon8 in the mix (pardon the pun).

Excellent vocals and super catchy bassline!  Love those lil synth sparkles that tail the pads.  The 2nd half where it picks up sort of reminded me of The Get Up Kids especially during that far out arp.
