Nothing wrong with some loops with a bunch of spacey shit on top.  If it's well executed it can be highly enjoyable.  Also, this is a great example of a title that is very honest and forthright about what you're getting yourself into.

Interestingly, I've wondered why I haven't heard people talk about the amount of spacey stuff everyone creates. I feel like reverb, delay, and chorus are used heavily to make a full sound, but they are often used to create a spaceventure track.
