Idea

Oh man, I was in Kansas City for a wedding this weekend and am paying dearly for it.  Was feeling ambitious this morning and thought I might be able to put together something of substance, but after a few hours of basically just staring at my computer I decided to just loop piano chords and crank out some guitar.  Enjoy.

It might not be as ambitious as you planned, but it's pleasant to listen to.  Those are some nice piano chords and some smooth soloing over them.

You should come back to this at some point and add some vocals, like just a two or three word refrain that can fade in and out. I feel like that would be a cool addition to the mix. I like the guitar tone, by the way; it feels like it's got a little crunch on it that gives it personality.

mmmmmmmm. Love the guitar.

Love that piano progression, and the guitar sounds really cool over it.  Sounds like the end of an 80s action/thriller with the protagonist walking away into the sunset with the girl he rescued or something along those lines

Perfect way to cap a wedding hangover.  The piano progression is inspiring and infectious.  It's hard not to hum along with it.  The guitar line gave me visions of you playing Slash style whilst standing on top of the wedding piano tongue    PS  nice mask btw!

Its now Tuesday. The true question is....are you still hungover?

Sounds like a song in the making. The feeling of the song is there. Don't let this gold get washed downstream.

Very nice guitar tones over very effective piano chords. And this snare cross stick rimshot is great. smile

Congratulations for your ability to pull a weekly beat with a hungover. In that kind of circumstances, there is no way you could drag me to sit upright in front of a computer. Cool guitar playing!

Yo, this rocks. I like this idea of yours.

Haha I was in a similar boat this week. I think you nailed it, the guitar solo sounds amazing.

Damn...i wish I could play guitar like that

Yeahhh props for still getting something down that sounds good and feels like it could be right at home as an interlude or something. Even being so simple, it still feels very Chrisfoo big_smile

Those drums are super crisp. Nice to hear the barebones nature of this comp as you riff on guitar.  You always got the killer guitar tone and skills!
