What an interesting track. There is pop in there, but there is something else. It is a deceptive track, making you think it's major but then it takes you to more exotic minor lines at the end bar. The bells sound like so many little icicles. The distorted bass is a superb counterpoint to that. The highlight of the track is the singing though. Very nice singing, both in execution and in the melody. I have no idea what you sing about but the title is awsome.
this is how Primal Scream or the Jesus and Mary Chain should sound today. Supergood Chrisfoo!!!!
I like the combination of the distorted sounds with the pristine clean bells. Good vocal melody on this one, too.
Taken.
Interesting juxtaposition with the heavy guitar and the delightful bells.

This reminds me a little of Muse (I think the mix of the heaviness with some pop-ish melodies?) but it's definitely got your unique stamp on it with those vocals. Really cool.
Love the vocal harmonies throughout this. That bell theme is an instant hook to get your attention. Ohh the ride on those drums yais!

Thanks all! This is actually an off-album Fleet Foxes song that I've always thought was really amazing. The original is very roots/Americana, so this is a bit of an odd take on it.
