Oh yeah that funk in the second section is strong and it has an interesting weird time signature, as if it were stuttering. It's like the prog version of a funk intro for an 80s cartoon.

Love a lush intro! Great sounding layers of organ and synths. But where da funk? Oh there it is.  The second half is so fun! The drums and synths are delightfully 80s sounding.
