Will Bridge

This track was made as part of the theme for Week 3: a shared melody.

Buried under my piles of reverb are shards of the melody provided by Pselodux. The original melody was put through my personal filter of stretch, reverse, chop up, and stretch some more until it broke and became this track.

To keep with the idea of wreckage, I combined the melody with a recording of what I believe was something metal repeatedly slamming up against the side of an oil tanker. I never figured out what was making the sound when I recorded it, but it lasted all day long.

This is lovely dude. Crazy how different everyones versions of this melody are.

Love the atmosphere in this one!

fuck yeah, one of my favorite weeklybeats of the year - i'm very into soundscape stuff like this

Very atmospheric and a great take on the shared melody concept!

Excellent work smashing that melody.  Similar to what I would of done with it.  It's what that melody deserved!  hehe.  Nice work.

Excellent atmosphere indeed--it totally suspends time.
