Barcelona/Tofino

Each week I work on something new but if that doesn't work out (or there's not enough time) I start listening to unfinished projects. I ended up working on a fairly recent project but ended up in a totally different place from where I started. I ended up in a strange, sun-soaked, Beach Boys-like place. I used a cheap 12 string guitar, old lap steel, electric bass with some delay, microbrute, Volca Keys and Beats, and some random percussion pieces I have lying around among other things.

Very nice.  It makes me want to kick back on the beach with a mai tai.

It's got that 'feel good track' vibe, like what is played in the closing of movies. Nice energy

awesome! it bears repeating, you should really have a band based around the stuff you write. i'd go see it (or play in it). been looking forward to your tunes each week, and this is no exception.

thanks guys! I appreciate the feel good comments. : )

"Sun-soaked" is a great description of this one.  I'm agree with preciouskindred, I'd happily show up a show for this band...

The guitar sound is really cool and I really like the "oooooh oooh" vox that fly in and out.  It has a nu_beach feel to it (if that were a genre!).  Also I could go for a nice drink after hearing this and a hammock smile

The sun and the beach and the soft dizzyness feeling of being sun drunk. I was on vacation for the time of your song!

For a moment I forgot that it's actually winter here :-)

Totally transformed to the aforementioned place...nice edge to it too.

The pitch-bends make me think you've invented no-wave Hawaiian music. Very nice, sunny, and psychedelic.
