Cloudmarch

Found a drum kit on MPC I wanted to try and knocked out a beat
Added some MPC synth licks and some padsy chords inside the box
Bounced to Logic
Added the arping lead section in gforce SEM
Garnished with samples

I couldn't quite smooth out the grit on the MPC leads using EQ but I like the rest of this sleepy groove. I may need to dip back in on the MPC and try to dial in the synth noise at the source.

Did the Orb use this fluffy clouds sample? I found it in a sample pack and it was in key. big_smile There's a whole series of her spitting out different lines.

Drums do rock!! Esp when the lush synths come in.

Nice pattern too I thought at first this was an odd time signature I dare to claim that it isn’t the nerds might come for me

Nice. Definitely 4/4. I'm too basic to pull off exotic time sigs! I appreciate you listening. There was a cool hat roll in the MPC kit that really tied this beat together.

Not hearing the grit/noise on the synth, at least, nothing that sounds bad? Sounds clean and crisp and the melodic parts have a nice patina on them that blends well with the groove, if I may be so audacious to use those fancy words. It works. I really like the little bass stabs and the glassy pad in particular. Great little beat heart

yeah lovely drums. actually the whole groove with the bass is gold and everything is gelling nicely. spaced out listening to it in the best way. great stuff

This is dope! I was bobbing my head to the drum groove throughout. Those arps sit super nicely with the pads. I'm also not hearing any noise on the synths

Didn't pay attention at the title and thought "hum, that feels a bit military, nice" through the track.
Although they come from a do feel quite natural nonetheless.
Love the choir wrapping things up for this atmospheric track.
Great job!

YO. super cool and spacious mix. those drums are tasty and work really well with all the other elements you brought in. nice one

I like these drums a lot, sound great.

Very interesting vibe, not like other stuff I've heard lately here

Not over compressed
