Of Elk and Yew; ever vigilant, ever growing

Dice gave me Cmin + Algiz

EZdrummer stock beats with some editing
Live bass + guitar
A few instances of Vital
Ruined it with vocals but I feel like this trio of tracks needs 'em, and I can only get better right? Haha
Soundgoodized with CloudBounce for probably no good reason

The little harmony progression (been loving learning to write these) I close it out with is probably the only catchy part of the song, despite being subtle. It reminds me of something I can't remember, like something from "Celtic Moods" in the 90s?

----
the Elk Lord surveys the land
Imbolc dawns cold and grey
time to shed this crown
I die today

horn and bone
flesh and blood
sacrifice
to renew the mud

there is no death without rebirth
let our bones go down in the earth
to water the roots of this sacred tree
for life for love for liberty

life is a fountain
ever ever flowing
life is a mighty tree
ever ever growing

Nice dynamics in that track! For instance that break at 2:06 is abrupt but works fully, and it catches the ear of the listener. Guitars + synth = always good in my book.
