Lots to think about, recently. I've found time to read books again, tried github copilot (both impressive, but also, still showing the fundamental limits of LLMs), contemplated life plans, in an unprecedented political climate where I live. Really a lot to think about. I wrote this little track on tuesday after finding some motivation, and I'm overall decently happy with it — I think the various places with a little bit of syncopation are fun. The melody is basic and the instruments are, well, kind of always the same, but I think it could be fleshed out into something decent with more time.

this is a track that _thrives_ on the pump. as soon as that deliberate kick comes in, it's no longer asking if we're going. we're going. love the ghostly magical crystal bells. love the jerky moments.

That's certainly a lot to think about. Most had their thoughts around week 45, but we all know it's not going to sink in until next year.
