November

Here's a little noodle with piano, strings, and horns. Somehow, I lost my Philharmonic Orchestra along with some other VSTs when I was using Clean My Mac the other day, so I had to use some Ableton strings and horns from BBC. Piano is from Arturia V.3 patches. As usual, I ran out of time and will likely go back and expand on this and do more refinement.  But this is a good start I think to whatever this turns into. Since this is my first track this month, I'm calling it "November" until I can do it justice and see where it goes. As always, thanks for stopping by.  - RCN

What a great start! Love the emotion and feel of this track. Piano is the star of the show, and the strings and horns are great supporting sounds. Very much looking forward to hearing where you take this.

Thanks.  I started with the piano playing some different voicings in G-flat maj and then went from there. I need to expand the melody and add more structure and will likely redo the strings when I recover some of my lost VSTs.  Always appreciate your comments.

I could see all kinds of scenes playing out in my head while listening. your playing is so lyrical and everything supports the melody in such an empathetic way.
thank you, RCN!

Lovely piano playing as always.  Gave me some Zemeckis/Silvestri movie feels.  The strings and horns are great supporting the piano melody too.  Well done!

fantastic! What a great listen, thank you!

This is very much doing November justice.

Thanks. Zemeckis/Silvestri soundtracks are some of my favorites, especially Forrest Gump! Hans Zimmer and John Williams are also big influences.
