Walk by your side

By BufordTannon on January 15, 2012 11:51 pm

So I just got onto this website about 2 days ago. In that time I've had virtually zero time but I'm managed to write a new song and somehow record it. Do not ask how. Lyrically it sounds quite deep, but I assure you it's just sub conscious words strung together.

My goal in this project is to get better engineering skills. I'm aware this is poorly recorded, but hopefully that will change as I get better.

HAD I MORE TIME:
I would have done some done some better lead guitar and had a more dynamic beat.I would have also re-done the vocals with some harmonies and actually EQ'd the song.

This is so good man. Well done!

I like this a lot! Sounds a bit like Elliott Smith.  You have a great voice.

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen.

You sound little bit like Brian Fallon. Good job man!

Awesome.  Great little tune.  The harmonies are great

Good work in such a short time.

Love the spaghetti western style guitar that plays in this occasionally.

I think this should definitely be revisited by you after this challenge as I really like it.

Reminds me of Mumford and Sons smile

Nice and bittersweet

I like the loose quality to the lead guitar. Good tone.  And harmonica! Excellent.

I like it.  I also enjoy the dark western vibe at times.  The quick production gives it an earthy feel.

Good song, great vocal. Ya the acoustic guitars needed the low end roll off engaged on the mics if it wasn't, that rumble takes away from the mood.
