This week's piece was more about some basic sound design and arrangement.
I started with a chord progression, that I then built a pad with. Afterwards, I used this same progression to create tracks for a bassline and a couple of pluck elements. Each of these I started with an initialized patch and built out a sound that I thought would work. After I wrote the MIDI tracks using some arpeggiators, I started to arrange the track using Reason's Block feature.
Once I had the arrangement settled, I decided to add a noise sound for a windy percussion element that would play randomly.
After some automation, I EQ'd and mixed the track. For mastering, this time, I built out my own Mastering chain featuring the Analog Heat
