I made another Reason track, trying to learn more about the Blocks feature.
I started with the drums, using different instances of Kong and layering drum sounds. Each sound had a different set of effects; the kick, for example, used a RV7000 mk2. Both the Closed & Open High Hats used CrapRein their Insert Effects, while the Open Hat also used a Decimort2. The Kick and both Hats were sent to a separate mix bus, while the clap was left out. The Clap effects were a Pulverizer, into The Echo and finishing into a Reverb Combinator.
For the tonal parts, I started with a Drone Combinator into a Mars Peaks. The lead line consisted of a FM4 into kHs Chorus and a kHs Delay. The bassline was handled by a Korg Mono/Poly into a DC-2 Chorus.
After mixing and equalizing the parts and adding some automation, I rendered out the track. For the Master effects, I used a Pulveriser, an EVE-MP5, a MClass Stereo Imager and an Ozone.
