I'm starting off this year's WeeklyBeats with an experiment with VCV Rack.  I played around with different combinations of modules until I came across an interesting set of sounds an recorded the result in Audacity.

After some reverb and compression, I made the MP3.

This is really cool. it's got granular stretch vibes to it.

Sounds interesting indeed. Would love to hear some kind of a melody with this on the background.

Nice. Keep up the research!

Oh heck yes VCV Rack! Looking forward to your experiments!

Really digging the flutter reverb and the difficult-to-identify squelchiness!

Nice. I'm definitely going to use VCV Rack on a Weekly Beats track soon(ish). I get a lot of noise on my old laptop, so maybe after an upgrade. The squelchy sounds on this are excellent.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!

I'm going to check out the dekstop Recorder modules (https://github.com/dekstop/vcvrackplugi … /README.md); Until VCV has a direct DAW connection, this might be the best option.  Especially since you can record 8 different outputs at the same time.

I gave that a go, and everything was recorded super fast. I need to try it again.
