Clouded Frequency

I started this week's track by making a couple of arpeggiated sequences in Reason. After I got them in a good place, I bounced the tracks out.

After bouncing, I took both sequences into PaulStretch to create a set of stretched audio files for the final track.

On the Final Track, I used the same MIDI chord sequence and stretched it to the finals track length. I then created a set of Pad tracks that I sent to a separate output bus for additional effects and mixing.

On two of the stretch tracks, I also sent them to an output bus for effects and mixing.

On the remaining stretch track, I created a unique set of effects using the Line Mixer as a Wet/Dry mix and blend, along with a Pulsar to move the panning on a couple of the Line Mixer tracks that added movement and rhythm.

I also picked up a used Elektron Analog Heat+FX, and I processed tracks through it (as well as using it as an interface). I also used some additional Main mixer effects before I EQ'd and mastered the track.

Calming and haunting at the same time. Well done!

Great idea with with the stretching.

I could imagine this playing as the camera pans over and alien landscape.

Thanks for the feedback and the listens! I appreciate it!

Beautiful sequences, spacious, a little haunting (love the dissonance btw), and brooding!

Great job
